Gluten Free Vegan Baked Chocolate Donuts. Extra chocolatey cake donuts, dipped in a decadent chocolate glaze. Can’t forget the chocolate sprinkles!Who wouldn’t go for one of these gluten free vegan baked chocolate donuts? Extra chocolatey cake donuts, dipped in a decadent chocolate glaze. Can’t forget the chocolate sprinkles!

It’s a sad day when you have to accept the fact that being able to buy freshly fried donuts is a thing of the past. I remember shortly after going gluten free, I was in the grocery story and passed the donut case. My heart dropped a little when I realized I couldn’t just pick up a dozen donuts for my family anymore. Yes, there are worse things, but it was still a bummer.

Being gluten free was not going to stop me from enjoying donuts again! I bought a donut pan and started baking my own donuts at home. Gluten free donuts that my whole family could enjoy. A few of my favorite donut recipes that I’ve come up with over are the years would have to be these baked strawberry donuts and of course these crazy delicious cinnamon sugar pumpkin donuts. Both delicious and even better, they are baked!

Gluten Free Vegan Baked Chocolate Donuts. Extra chocolatey cake donuts, dipped in a decadent chocolate glaze. Can’t forget the chocolate sprinkles! You guys have been asking for more donut recipes lately. I think you miss being able to buy donuts just as much as I do. When looking through the donut recipes I already had, I realized I didn’t have a chocolate donut recipe. The horror! That was a sign. A sign that making a decadent baked chocolate donut recipe for all of you was a MUST.

I can promise you this, you will not miss being able to buy donuts when you can make these gluten free vegan baked chocolate donuts at home! These chocolate cake donuts are oh so moist and the chocolate glaze couldn’t be easier to make. It’s a chocolate donut, dipped in a chocolate glaze and topped with chocolate sprinkles. Just give me ALL the chocolate.

Even if you are a fried donut person, you will adore these baked chocolate donuts! They have everything you love about a fresh donut, they just happen to be gluten, dairy and egg free. Because they are baked, you don’t have to feel as guilty when you eat two {because you will eat two}.

My wife was required to go on a dairy-free, gluten-free, and egg-free diet recently. I have been helplessly trying to find recipes that work for her restrictions. Finding your site has been so helpful for us. Now I can bake her all kinds of treats! Your hard work and expertise have made a difference in our lives. This is one of our favourite recipes along with the drop biscuits!

I made these twice last week because the other family members who don’t have food allergies loved them just as much as the two kids who have allergies. They are amazing. Thank you for all your amazing recipes.

Will olive oil or sunflower seed oil work?

Yes, sunflower seed will work well, as it is a lightly flavored oil.
