free spirit eater guest post

September 14, 2012 by Sarah 3 Comments

Hello friends!  Today I have a fabulous guest post for you, over at Free Spirit Eater!  Kym has a beautiful blog, filled with healthy recipes that I’m pretty sure taste just as good as they look.  Her photos are stunning and she has great fitness tips too.  Be sure to browse through Free Spirit Eater…you just might find a savory, guilt-free recipe to make for dinner tonight!

I decided to share my recipe for gluten free banana oat bread.  Super moist and low-fat.  This perfect loaf has outstanding texture from the rolled oats and toasted walnuts.  Gluten free banana bread never tasted so good!

Gluten-free diets became increasingly popular in recent years, with the introduction of many gluten-free options in supermarkets and on restaurant menus. Many people opt for a gluten-free diet due to having celiac disease, which is an autoimmune condition. Eating the protein gluten (common in malt, barley and wheat) can trigger symptoms of the disease, which can range from low energy to appetite loss.

Hi Sarah! I was wondering how you store this? Thanks!

Maggie, I usually store the bread in a gallon size ziplocc bag on the counter. Anything air-tight will work!
