gfreely review and giveaway

March 11, 2013 by Sarah 29 Comments

I LOVE getting packages in the mail!  Have I told you that?  No matter what, it sure does make my day a bit brighter.  It could be a simple gift card, new makeup, or a pair of Toms.  It’s even better if it’s a box filled with gluten free goodies!  I recently received a complimentary box from Gfreely.  There were so many new products to try out…I couldn’t wait to dig in!

Gfreely is a company that delivers a monthly box, right to your house.  It’s filled with an assortment of gluten free products and samples.  From cake mixes, to fruit and nut bars, to crunchy snacks.  It is a pretty cool way to see what is out there in the gluten free world that you have yet to discover.  On their website, you can sign up for either one, three, or six months of their service at a time.  Fall in love with one or more of the products you received?  You can purchase those items on the Gfreely website (for a limited time).  A great service that ships out a fun assortment of gluten free products, right to your front door!

Don’t let this cake mix scare you.  I had never tasted the combination of chocolate and lavender either.
I mixed it up and made mini cupcakes with it, dipped them in vegan chocolate ganache and oh my!  So good!  Wholesome Chow makes amazing gluten, egg, dairy and nut free mixes.  Great texture, wonderful flavors, and no need to feel guilty eating their GMO free products!

Too much cuteness going on here.  When I first opened up my GFreely box, these were the first things I noticed.  Gluten free soy sauce from Little Soya, packaged in a tiny fish!  So clever.  Not only are they adorable, but they are great to take with you on-the-go.

Oh, this fudge.  This evil, evil fudge.  Creamy, chocolatey, and vegan.
I MAY have eaten this entire bar of vegan fudge in one day.
My thighs thank you, Super Foxy Sweets.  You’re fudge is out of this world!!!

I recently saw a review of Vigilant Eats Superfood Oatmeal over at Celiac and the Beast and became intrigued.  Organic and no need to add hot water?  So I was super excited to see it in my box!  This gluten free oatmeal is packed with good stuff…goji berries, cocoa nibs, oats, coconut palm sugar, hemp powder, maple syrup.  Fuel for your day, for sure.  I was so happy when it tasted good too!  The tiny collapsable spoon included made me love it that much more.

Gfreely has offered to give 2 lucky winners, a free 1-month subscription!  Yes, that means you’ll be getting a box full of gluten free goodies in your mailbox too.  Also, EVERY person that enters will be sent a discount code for 50% off their first month subscription to Gfreely.  How cool is that?  To enter the Gfreely giveaway, you must sign-in using the box below and enter your email address.  Be sure to share with me any gluten free product that you would love to get in the mail.  You can receive extra entries by liking Gfreely on facebook, following me on twitter or tweeting this giveaway.  The last day to enter is Monday, March 18 at midnight.  Ready…Go!

Oh I've been wanting to try one of these subscription boxes! So fun to find some new gluten free snacks. My husband and son are both strictly gf, so I would like to find some new nutritious snacks to give to them to take to school/work. That fudge doesn't look so bad either ๐Ÿ™‚

Those little soy sauce packets are the cutest! I'd love to have any pre-mixed baking supplies delivered to my doorstep! I'm still new to GF and the mixing of the flours is a bit intimidating.

I would love to receive any of gluten free snacks–especially something like the cinnamon almond cookie bites. They look like they would be delicious. The little soy sauce fish is adorable, too! Thanks for the review and giveaway. mary987 (at) hotmail (dot) com

After. Reading your review of the chocolate lavender cake, I'd like to receive anything by the wholesome chow company to try and another thing ive been seeing a lot of that I want to try is the think thin bars that everyone talks about, i havent read the labels on them yet but I read about them on several gluten free sites, so I think they are GF. This box of goodies looks really really great and I'd love to try it. I'm looking for some healthy snack alternatives and this box would be great for that. Thanks a million. I'm going to look into the wholesome chow products as well as a couple other things you reviewed from this box. Thank you. Dh_jax (at) yahoo (dot) com

I would really like to try the cake. I make them in a magic brownie pan to give me snack sized portions and I think it would help get my family into eating right if I could provide them with a taste of that!
