dairy free chocolate-dipped frozen bananas
RECIPE TYPE: frozen treats
  • 3 large bananas
  • 6 popsicle sticks
  • 1 cup dairy free chocolate chips {such as Enjoy Life or Guittard}
  • 1 tablespoon refined coconut oil
  • chopped roasted almonds, chopped dry roasted peanuts, rainbow sprinkles
  1. Cut bananas in half. Place popsicle sticks halfway into cut end of each banana.
  2. Place bananas on baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. Place in freezer for 1-2 hours, until frozen.
  3. Add chocolate chips and coconut oil to glass bowl. Microwave on low in 30-second intervals. Stir until chocolate chips are completely melted.
  4. Remove bananas from freezer. Before dipping in chocolate, have all of your toppings ready.
  5. Dip each banana into melted chocolate, coating completely. Quickly top with toppings, before chocolate sets.
  6. Place onto parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining bananas.
  7. Serve immediately or store in plastic container/bag in freezer.
